THE DESIGN
Evolved through experience and skill - our designs are the finest available. Hull lines are drawn in the form of a variable dihedral. These, matched to 'cutter style' spray rails give you craft of high directional stability. Ones that climb rapidly onto the plane, are fast in turns and accurate to steer. Bow sheer, an important element of rough water performance, is pronounced. And, with a shape that easily punches through oncoming waves, you get a ride that is fast and safe. A focus on ergonomics shows consoles are tailored to fit so that controls fall easily to hand. Comfort and safety, a requirement of boat command, are hallmarks of the Tornado design.
CONSTRUCTION
Design and concept are brought together in the construction with the use, in the hull, of an advanced isophthalic resin. Reinforcements include combinations of tri-axial glass. Immensely strong, yet light in weight, this high-tec matrix is tomorrow's build - today. A definitive process, it warrants you a hull free from osmotic blistering, fatigue delamination and micro stress cracking the unseen blight of most traditional craft. Topside the inflatable collar is of equal strength and, fabricated in a polyurethane fabric, is many times harder wearing than hypalon. Now specified and used by the US Military; its service life is proven and the best. Available in a large selection of colours - blue, orange, yellow, grey and black, its aesthetic finish is superb. And, with a harder polymer surface then any rival - it stays smarter-looking longer.
THE PERFORMANCE
Performance has many facets, it can be about the tenacious grip of the deep 'V' hull as it bites hard in high speed turns, slaloming a wake across the bay. It can be about the peace and security of exploring hidden creeks and coves far from the beaten track.
